Yes—you can request that ACT delete a test-date score from your record through your MyACT account, which is different from simply not sending that date to colleges (Score Choice). Deletion is permanent for that sitting; choose it carefully.
Delete vs do not send
- Score Choice / selective sending: the score stays on your ACT record; you choose which dates to report to each college. See which ACT dates to send.
- Deletion:that test date is removed from your ACT record (subject to ACT's rules). You generally cannot get it back.
If a college requires all scores, deleting a bad date may be the only way to keep it off the file—but confirm that school's policy first.
When deletion can make sense
- A large drop on a retake you will never want anyone to see, especially if schools require all sittings

- You are certain you will not need that date for superscoring math later
