Open the wrench in Desmos once at the start of Math and set the mode you need. Do not discover degrees versus radians on question 40. Desmos as a tool is in Desmos on the ACT.
Set it, then leave it
Trig in degrees is the usual ACT default. If a stem uses π, switch to radians for that item, then switch back, in radians versus degrees in Desmos.
You still have a handheld if you want it, in handheld calculator and Desmos. Allowed models are in the calculator policy.
The bottom line
Wrench first. Mode mismatch is a silent wrong answer.
