To plot a point in Desmos, type (x, y) on its own line, like (3, −2). Use this to check whether a given point sits on a graph, or to mark a vertex you already found. Desmos access is in Desmos on the ACT.
Point versus table
One ordered pair: type it. Several x-values: a table is faster, in Desmos tables. Evaluating f at one x is a different move, in evaluating a function at a point.
If the point is the solution of two graphs, click the intersection instead, in finding intersections.
The bottom line
One pair: type (x, y). Then see whether it lands on the curve.
