Practice Tests & Test Day

How to order Test Information Release

October 4, 2026 · 5 min read

Test Information Release is an extra purchase on some national dates. You order it in MyACT, then you get the questions and your answers later. Not every Saturday offers it.

When to buy it

You will actually review the items, and the date is a TIR date. Confirm on act.org. Official practice still comes first: free practice tests.

When to skip it

You will not open the PDF, or you need the fee for a retake. Error-log work on released tests is enough: make an error log.

The bottom line

Order TIR only on a date that offers it and only if you will review it like a practice test you paid to see.

Start practicing

Start with a free diagnostic, then drill your weak spots with 15-question quizzes and track how you're doing across Reading, English, and Math. Compare plans whenever you're ready to go further.
