Practice Tests & Test Day

How to simulate ACT test day

October 3, 2026 · 5 min read

Simulate test day once: same start time, real section clocks, the official break, no phone, and a full English–Math–Reading core. Section drills teach skills. A Saturday dress rehearsal teaches the day.

Copy the constraints

  • Start at the real hour you will wake for the official.
  • 35 / 50 / 40 on the core. Optional Science only if you will sit it.
  • Phone in another room. Approved calculator only.

What you may pack: what to bring.

Copy the edges

Eat what you will eat. Wear what you will wear. Use the morning you planned. Night before, morning of.

The bottom line

One honest Saturday at home is worth three untimed "tests" on the couch. Then review like it was official.

Start practicing

Start with a free diagnostic, then drill your weak spots with 15-question quizzes and track how you're doing across Reading, English, and Math. Compare plans whenever you're ready to go further.
