Louisiana TOPS publishes ACT (or SAT) steps for Opportunity, Performance, and Honors awards. One Composite point can change the award. Confirm this year's LOSFA grid—do not reuse a sibling's screenshot.
How the steps usually work
A Composite band plus a GPA and curriculum floor unlocks a named award. Broader tables: scholarships by score. Why one point can matter: how much one point matters.
The bottom line
Treat this year's TOPS PDF as the source of truth. Sit again only if the next named step is documented and reachable.
Start practicing
Start with a free diagnostic, then drill your weak spots with 15-question quizzes and track how you're doing across Reading, English, and Math. Compare plans whenever you're ready to go further.
