A histogram shows counts in bins. The height of a bar is how many values fell in that interval, not a single data point. Mean, median, and mode from a list are in mean, median, and mode.
Read the bin, then the height
If the 10–20 bar is height 8, eight values sit in that interval. The mode is the tallest bin, not a precise number. Two-way tables are counts in cells instead of bins, in two-way tables.
Desmos statistics functions can summarize a list, in statistics functions. The short list is in ACT Math formulas.
The bottom line
Bin plus height. Do not treat a histogram bar as one exact value.
