On ACT Reading, and on most Science items, the right answer is restated in the passage. If you cannot point to a line, it is probably wrong. Smart-sounding extras are traps. Synonym swaps of a real line are in synonym swap.
Find the sentence
A detail question should send you back to a line. An inference still has to sit on a sentence, not on what you know from class. Extreme wording that the passage never used is in extreme language.
On Science, a named figure is the proof, in go to the named figure. Reading overall is in ACT Reading strategy.
The bottom line
If you cannot underline the support, do not pick the choice.
