On the first pass, take only the Math items you can finish in about thirty seconds. Flag the rest. Math is 45 questions in 50 minutes. Two-pass order is in the two-pass method.
Thirty seconds is a filter
If the setup is still foggy at half a minute, skip. A later wall after a full minute is a different cutoff, in the sixty-second skip. Flagging on the digital test is in flagging questions.
Bank the early items while they are cheap, in the first-half sprint.
The bottom line
First pass: thirty seconds or flag. Second pass: the ones you marked.
