How to send ACT scores to scholarship programs

October 3, 2026 · 5 min read

Scholarship programs want an official ACT send to their code, not a screenshot. Use MyACT the same way you send to a college—and confirm that program's deadline, which is often earlier than RD.

Find the code

The scholarship site lists an ACT code, or the state program does. Bright Futures and HOPE are state examples: Bright Futures, HOPE.

What score to send

Send the sitting that meets the published step. Score tables: scholarships by score.

The bottom line

A scholarship send is an official report to a code. Do it before that program's date, not when you remember in April.

Start practicing

Start with a free diagnostic, then drill your weak spots with 15-question quizzes and track how you're doing across Reading, English, and Math. Compare plans whenever you're ready to go further.
