Tennessee HOPE (lottery) uses an ACT or SAT step plus GPA. It is not Georgia HOPE. Confirm this year's TSAC numbers before you treat a Composite as a lock.
How to use the number
If you sit one point under the published ACT step and your GPA already clears, a retake can be real money: how much one point matters.
The bottom line
Look up this year's Tennessee HOPE ACT step. Sit again only if that number is the one you are missing.
