Your ACT admission ticket is the document you must bring to the test center—it becomes available in MyACT after your registration photo is approved, and you should print it (or have a digital copy if required) and verify every detail before test day. When your ticket is ready
After you register and ACT approves your photo, your admission ticket appears in MyACT. It usually becomes available a few days before the test, but do not wait until the morning of—print it during the week before the ACT.
How to print from MyACT
- Log in to your MyACT account at act.org.
- Open your upcoming registration.
- Download or print the admission ticket PDF.
- Bring the printed copy unless your test center specifies otherwise.
What to verify on the ticket
- Your name matches your photo ID exactly
- Correct test date and test center address
- Testing format (paper, online at center, or BYOD)
- Whether Science and Writing are included
- Approved accommodations (extended time, etc.) if applicable
- Report time / check-in instructions

Digital testing login
If you test online at a center or with BYOD, your ticket includes login credentials or instructions. Do not share them. Arrive early in case setup takes time.
Lost ticket on test day
Try to reprint from MyACT on a phone or ask a parent to email you the PDF—many centers require a printed copy, so this is a backup only.
