A detail-from-the-graph question is a lookup. Go to the named figure, find the point, read the value. Do not start a trend story. Locators are in go to the named figure.
Point, not pattern
“At 20°C, what was the mass?” is a detail. “What happens as temperature increases?” is a pattern, in pattern questions. Units on the axis still matter, in axis labels and units.
Factual questions that live in the prose instead of the figure are in factual questions.
The bottom line
Named figure, named value, read it. Save the trend language for pattern items.
