A 26 Composite sits between a solid 25 and a 27. Many in-state merit first steps live here. Raise any core section still in the low 20s and finish every section. Science is optional and does not enter the Composite.

The Composite math

28 + 26 + 24 averages 26. 30 + 26 + 22 also averages 26. A 19 in any core section is the usual blocker. Fix that floor.

What to practice

The bottom line

A 26 is a finished test plus one weak core repaired. Check whether the next published step is a 27 or a 28 before you sit again.
