How to raise your ACT score by 4 points

October 4, 2026 · 6 min read

A four-point Composite jump is usually one weak section plus fewer blanks—often six to ten weeks. It is not a 10-point rebuild and not a three-point tidy-up.

Where four points hide

  • A 24 next to two 30s—the 24 can move the average.
  • Unfinished Math or Reading.
  • The same five grammar misses every Saturday.

The bottom line

Four points is a focused section job with a real calendar. If you need ten, change the semester, not just the highlighter.
